Make the most of Sydney - see what's on offer

The team at OISE Sydney will help you with any travel arrangements such as a day-trip to the Hunter Valley,  the Blue Mountains,  domestic flights, tours, bus/train tickets and car-hire. We can also recommend local  travel agents for more extended trips.

Festivals in Sydney

Sydney hosts festivals all year round, with the Spring and Summer months being the busiest.

The Sydney Festival is famous for free opera, symphony and jazz concerts at the Domain amongst another 70+ events over three weeks in January.

In September there is the Festival of the Winds kite flying festival at Bondi Beach, and the Cronulla Spring Festival.

The Sydney Underground Film Festival is a local festival screening independent films. Manly Beach becomes lively during the Manly Arts Festival featuring exhibitions such as scultpures on the beach, all in September.

October is the month of the Sydney International Food Festival and the beginning of the famous Sculpture by the Sea exhibition between Bronte and Bondi Beaches.

For Breakfast on the Bridge, 6000 lucky people enjoy a picnic breakfast on the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is closed to traffic.

Also in October, Darling Harbour Fiesta is a 4-day festival featuring lots of live music performances around Darling Harbour.

These are just some activities for you to enjoy while you study English in Sydney. We will keep you updated on what's on in Sydney during your course.
