A. A group class with no more than 4 students
Q. What does Tutorial mean?
A. A one on one (1-1) lesson. You and a teacher.
Q. Who studies at OISE Sydney?
A. Mostly professionals over the age of 25, such as business managers, teachers, accountants, H.R. executives, doctors and lawyers. Academic students also love learning at OISE.
Q. Where is the school?
A. In the centre of the city (CBD) near Darling Harbour, 3 minutes walk from Town Hall train and bus stops.
Q. What does the Social Programme offer?
A. You choose from activities including a tour of the Opera House, lunch at the Fish Market, visiting Sydney museums and galleries, current festivals, etc. We share afternoon tea together every Tuesday.
Q. Can I mix group and 1-1 classes?
A. Yes, many students do. Choose Quatorial Plus (+) programmes, for example Quatorial +5.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Just a notepad and pens! All academic materials are provided by the school and are included in the programme price.
Q. What can I expect on my first day?
A. You start at 8:30 with an English level test, an introduction to the school and to Sydney.
At 10.50am, after morning tea, you start your class and finish the day at 4:30.

Q. How do I travel to and from school?
A. Most students take the bus or train. Others walk or catch the ferry.
Q. How long does it take to get to school from the host families?
A. Between 25 and 40 minutes.
Q. What is the difference between standard and executive homestay?
A. Standard homestay - you may share a bathroom; executive - you have private bathroom and pay $150 extra per week.
Q. What is the weather like in Sydney?
A. The average summer temperature (December to February) is 30C with maximum of 42C.
